The Ehlers Collection

Experience the history of ceramics.

The Ehlers Collection (Ehlers Samlingen) is Northern Europe’s largest collection of earthenware. The collection, which comes from all over Denmark and Northern Germany, contains historical objects and ceramic art from many different periods – the oldest of which are more than 500 years old. Located in historic surroundings at Slotsgade 20, the museum shares a courtyard with von Oberberg’s House. Sometimes, during the summer, plays by Holberg are staged in the beautiful courtyard.

The museum is closed until February 1st.

OBS! Your ticket to the Ehlers Collection also grants you access to Von Oberbergs House.
