Haderslev's history includes a little bit of everything from ancient monument, a castle from the Middle Ages, mills and war history. In the same way our nature also includes a bit of everything from the wild and rough terrain found in Stensbæk Plantation in the western end of the municipality to the luxuriant east with the fiord and the island Aarø.
