Tørning Mølle Christmas Market

A classic Christmas market for the whole family with a visit from Santa Claus.

Southern Jutland’s longest established Christmas Fair

On Saturday, 2 December and Sunday, 3 December, 10:00 - 16:00 both days.

Visit the old watermill, the venue for Southern Jutland’s longest established Christmas Fair. This year there are 55 exhibitors. Step back into the good old days and enjoy this classic Danish Christmas Fair!

There are stalls in the Miller’s House and Barn, and in a marquee on the cobblestoned courtyard. Check out the creative workshop in the Miller’s House where children and adults can get lots of great ideas for making Christmas gifts. Stallholders offer everything from creative handicrafts, Christmas decorations, gift ideas and lots more – and you can sample Christmas delicacies.

Children can meet Santa at Tørning Mølle both days. On the stage in the Barn, the kids will find Santa’s sledge and be photographed with him.

Programme:

We wake Santa at Tørning Mølle at 10:30.

Santa distributes bags of sweets to children. NB: Children must be accompanied by an adult. (Rumour has it that this is a lovely big bag of scrummy stuff!)

Santa is at Tørning Mølle on both fair days.

Visitors vote for the best stall – 2 prizes, each 3 bottles of Vojens wine.

Stallholders sponsor prizes drawn on entrance ticket numbers.

FARS BAR offers hot drinks (mulled wine and rum toddy), beer, sausages, etc.

The café in the barn offers mulled wine and apple turnovers, coffee, cake, beer, soft drinks, etc.

There is a creative Christmas workshop in the Miller’s House. Everyone, including children, is welcome to make Christmas decorations and gifts here.
